SUNDAY MIDDAY SERVICES, 12:30 p.m.

  • Sunday, May 4 at 12:30 p.m..
    Beltaine Service and Ritual

Beltaine, celebrated on May 1, is primarily a fire and
fertility festival. Marking the beginning of the Summer
and the light half of the year under the guiding hand of the
Goddess, the day is celebrated in merriment and the dance
around the Maypole. We will meet indoors or out, weather
depending. Please dress for the weather, and bring drums,
musical and/or percussion instruments and a chair to use
    outdoors.

    Worship Leader: Rebekah Benner

  • Sunday, May 11 at 12:30 p.m..
To Bless the Space Between Us

Join us for traditional and non-traditional blessings on a
myriad of subjects, as we look at the importance of the
blessing as mode of prayer and as an utterance of energetic
significance. Poet and philosopher John O'Donohue, who
died suddenly in January, reminded us that when we wish
blessings on others, we create a vibrational message of
love that reverberates farther than we can imagine.
Included in this service will be a blessing for the many
ways each of us exemplifies Mother Energy, in honor of
Mother's Day. We are delighted to be joined again by Trish
McLoughlin, who will bless the space between us with her
    traditional Celtic music.

    Worship Leader: Patty O'Shea
    Worship Associate: Sarah Culver
    Musical Guest: Trish McLoughlin

  • Sunday, May 18 at 12:30 a.m.
    UU Christian Communion Service

Join us for our monthly UU Christian Communion Service.
    Everyone is welcome!

  • Sunday, May 25 at 12:30 a.m.
    Healing Gathering:
    Group Meditation, Prayer and Healing

Group prayer and meditation will be followed by a
time when individuals may receive the loving touch of
Reiki practitioners and other energy workers for the
healing of body, mind and spirit. If you are not able to
attend, please feel free to stop by and leave the name
of any people who might wish to receive such energy.

  • In the spirit of the Midday Service and its emphasis
on offering a variety of worship experiences, some
new options for worship will be offered during the
12:30 hour this fall. An open Small Group
Ministry session, a Healing Service, and a UU
Christian Communion service will start this month.
In addition, a Music Worship involving guest
musicians and some theatrical presentations will
begin in October. Please check the website, the
Reporter, or Memoranduum for future service
    descriptions.
