Religious Education - General Information
Overview
Welcome to Our Religious Education Program for Children
and Youth!
Our Church School curricula address five major themes: Unitarian Universalist
Identity, World Religions, Social Responsibility and Ethics, Judeo-Christian
Heritage, and Spiritual Self Development. Church School classes are arranged
by grade and taught by teams of volunteer teachers. Parents and others
assist in the classroom with special events. We encourage your participation!
We enter into religious education as both teachers and learners in the
quest for personal and community fulfillment.
Our programs are designed to promote love, caring, inclusiveness, personal
growth, and social responsibility. We cherish the values of personal and
religious freedom, peace, and justice. We are inspired by an appreciation
of the transcending mystery and wonder of life. Through our programs we
hope to nurture the development of whole persons and help create a better
world. We support each other on our personal journeys and on our journey
together.
We come to worship, celebrate, learn, and grow. Come join us!
