The Unitarian Universalist Church of Akron is a community of friendship and fun. Through a wide variety of fellowship opportunities and social activities, our members develop connections that bring meaning, hope, and a whole lot of laughter and fun to their lives.

Fellowship Hour on Sunday mornings is one of our most popular opportunities for connection and community. “Coffee Hour” often features delicious food prepared in our state-of- the-art kitchen, a special visitors’ table for those who are new to our community, a UUCA book table, and other tables and displays with information about important opportunities to get involved both within and beyond the walls of our congregation.

Stone Soup

During the church year, September through June, join us for Stone Soup on the second Wednesday of the month. Folks bring something to share and then pop in to one of several programs offered that evening.

Church Picnic

Finally following the pandemic our traditional summer picnic will resume in June 2024! We meet in one of the beautiful national parks in our area and share a meal, music and worship. Keep an eye on our emails and calendar.

If you would like to learn more or experience how fun and friendly our church community is, please contact the church office or join us for a worship service on Sunday morning.

Keep an eye on our emails and Newsletter for opportunities to get together outside of church!  Attend a play, or concert together.  Explore the park system and the amazing art adventures in our area.
