Would you like . . .

  • to consider religious questions with others who are open to a variety of answers and with whom you share many values?
  • a church where people find connections with one another through a sense of mutual needs and concerns?
  • a church where your children can find encouragement to develop their own religious beliefs, consistent with love, compassion and justice?
  • to expand your circle of friends and join in celebration and worship, discussion and education, in an atmosphere of respect and mutual support?
  • to learn the wisdom of great moral leaders of every age and nation?
  • a community of individuals who will welcome your participation in the effort to preserve and extend the tradition of personal freedom and human dignity against the danger those elements face today?

Then ours may be the church you are seeking.

Our church is a member of the Unitarian Universalist Association. The Unitarians and the Universalists merged in 1961, bringing together two of the most liberal religious groups in the United States.

We welcome you to share not just in our history, but in the commitment to make our tradition live and thrive, to build a better future for ourselves and for all the people of the world.

Summer Programs for Kids
June and July
- UU Fun and Friends On Sunday mornings in June and July, UU Fun and Friends brings children together for games and activities with adult volunteers. It's relaxed, easy, and helps sustain the multi-generational church we all love. Children will come directly to Room 403 before the service at 10:20. Cathy Savage and Pauline Tomechko are serving as our volunteer coordinators. Thank you Cathy and Pauline! One of our RE staff will be on site
each Sunday to help direct parents, guests and children.
August - UU Summer Camp Sundays It's back!! UU Summer Camp is a program of themebased
activities for children in the Fellowship Hall each Sunday in August. Guest presenters from the Akron area bring their knowledge, expertise and related activities to each session for grades K-5. We'll have the full schedule and descriptions available in July. On Summer Camp Sundays, the children attend the beginning of services with their families before being sung out to the fellowship hall. Please sign up to be a parent volunteer during one of the sessions June-August by contacting Cathy Savage.
